Bordspel Point of View: Lost Places
Point of View: Lost Places features four large folding maps that show a scene with hidden objects in a 3D style — but each map shows this scene from a different perspective, and each player (or pair of players) sees only one map at a time. As a result, no one has a complete overview of what’s in the scene, so you’ll need to pool your information together, which means that communication is key.
The game includes 4×40 puzzle cards that challenge you with a wide variety of tasks. What do the others see that you don’t see yourself? To solve the puzzles, you have to talk to each other intensively, both about what you see and about what you don’t see. Over four chapters, you’ll immerse yourself in exciting adventures and face new challenges time and again. In addition to teamwork, abstract thinking and smart combinations are required, with each chapter taking roughly two hours to solve in full.
In Lost places zit de gedrukte handleiding niet in de doos maar gaat dit via de app die je moet downloaden. De app linkt door naar de Haba site waar je de handleiding kan downloaden in de gekozen taal. In de appstore zoek je naar “Point of View by Haba” of je scant de code bij het spel.
De app gebruik je vervolgens ook om de kaartjes te laten voorlezen. De kaartjes in je doos zijn in het Engels, de app heeft een NL voorleesfunctie. Dat is een leuke stem die de sfeer van het spel ook meer naar boven brengt.
